I never liked any of the Beatles stuff (borne too late I guess) but my sister who was heavily into classical music played this piece all the time back in the early 80's. I was 13 at the time & I used to sit up in my attic above her room in my old house, and watch airliners flying high up in the clear blue sky through my telescope. This piece really fitted the majesty & beauty of the aircraft. This always reminds me of those happy days as a youngster.

well when i hear rock songs go classical like this it kinda ruins the classical feel for it when i can hear a drum kit a majority of the song. then it doesnt really sound classical it just seems like an instrumental beatles song. its a shame they couldnt come up with a way to not include it. But the best rock to classical song is without a doubt comfortably numb performed by a string quartet. so beautifully done.
