If we use the imagination during the chant of The Chanting connecting us with the center of the earth and the center of the universe, The OM - It brings down the energy of GOD.

If we have blockages in our chakras, this energy will produce effects: the symptoms of Kundalini.

SADI of SHIRAZ (a sage) described the best symptoms of this energy flow: "When the energy is flowing correctly, there is no movement". Kundalini Shaking is the symptom of an energy blockage.

Blockages produce the kundalini symptoms of heat and of cold.

The chant releases blockages.

If you hear noises in the chakras, it means that there are blockages which are being released. This are chakras which are expanding to take the extra energy. Described in the hindu texts as various sounds (tingling bells, the sound of the wind, the conch shell, drums).
