@Cindy221 I hope it went well, and I don't think you get cancer unless you have been having GERD symptoms for a prolonged time, like a few years. (my friend who is studying medicine told me this)

These symptoms are the same as acid reflux/gerd...
please, if you have some or all of these symptoms, do not assume it's cancer, you will just get worked up. If you do have these and you know you have gerd/reflux, treat the reflux with hydrochloric acid tabs + pepsin. Most reflux cases are caused by too little acid, resulting in reflux, which can result in ulcers, which very well could lead to cancer!

@dannukesem It's hard not to worry.. plus i have been losing weight without trying.. could just be from the Gerd but who knows:(

@nerdymom2 thank you:) I have to take some acid medication for 3 weeks and if symptoms don't improve I will need an endoscopy
