@Runer2007 notice in video the predator variant fires into the top of the tank. The penetrator is a molten metal object formed by the waves created by the EFP moving a hypervelocity. Unfortunately for tanks, being impacted by metal at that speed will penetrate any form of armor as the armor reacts like a liquid. It takes many inches of solid armor to stop a small EFP, no tank has that on top because of the tremendous weight that would add. Another note: nothing can stop a large EFP

I'm sure this can penetrate armour, if an RPG-29 and even an RPG-7 with tandem charge warhead can penetrate armour.

Was just stating it because people beneath my comment said it couldnt penetrate the challenger II :-)

indeed, but i really dont want to see a challenger have to shrug the missile off, and then have scratches on his paint :<

if only governments were willing to test it out using a brand new Challenger 2.
I too also am skeptical it can take out a Challenger 2, with add on Bar armour (anti rpg blast cages) as it is probably the worlds most well armoured tank.
The size of the warhead is not strong enough to penerated any modern day battle tank. But it does not have to penetrate any tank from the front or at the turret hight, but from above. Thats the only way why it can, surely, penetrate modern tanks because no tank has a strong armour protection at that spot. Thats how it works. Nasty because in the anti-armour mode, it only flyes over the weak point and then detonated downwards.

It didn't say it can penetrate the frontal armor of any tank. It said it can penetrate any tank, because it can, as you said by using the top-attack.
You're stating the obvious, my friend.

I was under the impression that these weapons have a nasty backblast and therefore cannot be used in enclosed spaces?

Newer weapons, like this one, have a soft launch system. The initial burst is a low-power thruster that has a weak blackblast. The main rocket motor doesn't ignite until the whole missile is several feet in front of the operator, far outside of whatever enclosed space he is in.
The SMAW and the AT4 are the ones that cause serious overpressure in confined spaces, because the moment you hit the trigger, the main rocket ignites so the backblast is right in the room with you.
