Obviously he sounds absurd the first time through, as he should through his explanation. The point of the book he's talking about is your mind over matter. The difference between cancer patients who think it's a bump in the road will make it a bump in the road, but patients who think it may be the end, create a mind set that triggers chemicals in the body that accept that it's the end. Therefore, their life may acknowledge it's end, rather than fight it. He's succeeded beyond comprehension.

I Understand that completely, except I don't believe it would be just to single scientology out for draining there followers cash. As I see it every religous organization has there own way of draining there followers cash rather someone thinks it is justified or not is a mood point. To call any religion false in this great country of ours is in itself a false statement.Scientology meets all requirements of a religion. Scientology is no more false than christianity.

@MrBasketball1521 Scientology is a false religion because it was founded as a cover for "Dianetics". L. Ron Hubbard wrote the book to create his own patented form of lay psychiatry, with its auditing, E-meters etc. Then the US gov't busted him for medical fraud. He quickly founded Church of Scientology and declared Dianetics practices to be "religious." Everyone bought it and now CoS is protected by the 1st Amendment as it drains its followers of cash.

A false religion ? As i have said before I am not scientologist by any means but I Dont understand were people can say that scientology is a fake religion. ??? Its a belief and or a way of life much like the budah concept. I hink the idea of a man in the sky watchin ur everymove is ridic and man made delusions! Just because u disagree doesnt mean it is fake. FREEDOM OF RELIGION :) Believe what you want and thats your religion
