This is a Korean cartoon, talking on the Duty of a boy, holding up the Cross, with an arrow pointing to others where Jesus went. It rained, it snowed, and he wanted to give up. However, he still persisted, and in the end, Jesus too was touched by his actions. It's very toucing, and I really cried. I first read about it in 青春路, a chinese youth magazine, and really had a hard time searching for it. For more, try check out their website: http://www.donghaeng.net/english/main.htm

  • I'm all for duty, rightly understood. But this is an incomplete analogy. This is the story of a boy holding a cross alone. There is no kind of loneliness in Christ, except perceived. There is no kind of strength in Christ, except given. There is no kind of being in Christ, except being with Christ. Perception lies. Pride lies. There is no doing anything alone: the faculty of *doing* is a gift to you from him -- one which he remains with you to unwrap.
