you know whats easier than cracking it... deleting one character and removing the root password. simple as pie. if you don't have permissions just boot off a usb, or take the hard-drive out.

1. useless without a salted hash. would be easier to bruteforce on connection instead.
2. that's... not a valid hash string, even. not MD5, not Blowfish, not even AES. try again. there will be cake waiting for you upon completion.
