Meeting in the Air - Larry Elliott

Meeting in the Air is a favorite song of mine, since first hearing Jimmy Swaggart play it in the mid 70's.I plan on re-doing it with accompanyment in a few days. Let me know what you think. Thanks for viewing!

Would it be too much trouble if you were to explain the big long lick you play in the middle? It's probably one of those things that can't be explained properly without actually sitting down at a piano, but if you could help at all it'd be greatly appreciated! -Colton

I would love to go over it with you and you are right, it is more difficult to explain than to just perform. I have a new camera, piano and setup altogether now and plan on some "how to's online in the upcoming weeks. I will tell you that the progressions have more to do with blues or minor scales than straight scales. Use those 7th notes. Wow! That right hand can't possibly know what the left hand is doing on the keyboard. Because that right hand is so busy doing acrobatics, it looks like it has a mind of its own!!! Seriously! a fantastic rendition of a triumphant Gospel song. Praise the Lord God Almighty!
