Shobha, dont let it cool too much or you wont be able to put it on the seran wrap and have it flatten out. the vadams will become like little kuzhi paniyaarams and wont dry easily if they are thick. ..

Lovely an d interesting video. I was telling my daughter aged 8 about my childhood days and about long hot summers, and pickles and thokkus and vadams and appalams and all that...just thot that some one must have posted something on this and chanced on your video. Lovely took me back a couple years...doesnt the cling film feel the heat of the vadam maavu or do you let it cool??/
