Ben also said in his experience he was there with his favorite song rapper who is still alive I believe. I could not understand that part.

@basicman101 Some studies have found this before, e.g. children meet relates that are still living such as their parents. The NDE is explained as a co-created experience, where the mind and conditioning of each person interacts with the experience. If you have seen the movie Contact, its well explained. The conclusion is that the other side is non-physical, but we create physical images in order to make sense of it and relatives, dead or alive, serve as guides to help us through the process.

I believe in NDE and afterlife but we have also to say that a research from Southampton university (I think) is proving that maybe it's a mind trick. Basically, doctors hide many objects in the room of people who might have NDE and when (if) they return to life, doctors ask whether they could see that objects. No one could see them, even people who claimed they had an NDE and that they were flying in the air. So it's not a proof that it's not real but...

@Morpho32 Seeing on the other side is not like seeing in this dimension. Thus, the AWARE Study, while an interesting attempt, may be asking too much of the experiencers who mostly care about what happens to their body.

Thank you so much for posting this video. We were fortunate enough to talk to Ben about his experiences before he passed away. He was very confident that he was really there in that white light and that it was so peaceful that it was beyond human comprehension.
