I have the same problem. I got one of those, but also a Colt AR. Colt worked great. Oly's are a mess with magwells as Blackplague says.

I did get the magpul to work in the Oly CAR, but just barely.  Orlites don't fit at all. The only ones that really work are aluminum GI ones.

Great magazine, but the hat... I have got to get one of those. haha.

That is beacues Olympic Arms is notorious for out-of-spec magwells.

I sold the one I owned, but you're missing the point completely.

Being aware of your movements means being able to do an incredibly easy and basic thing like switching the selector without having to look at it.

And that applies whether or not you're switching it from safe to fire or semi to auto (or burst).

Nachtschwarzk12...I agree you should know your rifle well enough to switch from s/f without having to stop, turn the rifle sideways, locate the selector, and return to firing position.
