Early footage of Gliding in Melbourne, produced by Cinesound (sadly the sound is missing!).
The club featured is the VMFG (Victorian Motorless Flight Group)
I believe this was produced in the late 1940's.
Watch for the extreme PIO during the attempted winch launch of the Primary and the low level spin and (fortunately prompt) recovery of the single seater, later in the footage. I believe the pilot of the single seater was Jack Iggulden
