I had the same problem. While i no longer try to play the game because my computer is way to advanced to play it now i still asked the question on another video and this was the solution is was given "same thing happend 2 me i have a solution 4 u use cpu killer program it will slow the game speed allowing the game to function without crashing if it works you can complete it yourself like i did ;)" Give thanks to a person named Mouldy Productions for this gem of information

That's amazing, because I STILL haven't beaten it because mine stops at the part at Kaine's where you're in the elevator? Then it just freezes...
