The Message of Ecclesiastes

Jehovah's witnesses will often point out to the book of Ecclesiastes to prove that we do not go to heaven or hell after death but just sleep.

Does the book of Ecclesiastes say anything about the condition of the dead after this life? Or not? And what is the general message of Solomon in this book?

Hataorah...We do not celebrate Christmas...As you would understand..The heaven like earth is for the earthly subjects, the rulership is for the heavenly rulers 144k that revelation speaks of. Messianic Judaism is somewhat similar but somewhat different.. Jehovah's Witnesses are by no means affiliated with Pentecostal Christianity..The Pentecostals Pray to Jesus and are trinitarian and believe that Jesus limited himself for a man bk they misunderstood Paul in titus that he was God.

I've studied quite a lot also...Christianity (Pentecostal) only satisfied me for a little, but it was a stepping stone to the truth in Judaism.

@Hatorah The idea of the Heaven is most likely an Human triditional believe, I have yet to read anywhere in the bible where if you simple accecpt Jesus, You will go to Heaven when you die... Thats just as fake as christmas.

The dead will ressurect when Jesus returns on Earth, Then the earth we are in now, will become "Heaven Like"

OK....answer me this one...

If the "dead in Christ`` will rise first (I Thess 5), how can they be in Heaven now.

No pastor has ever been able to answer this one.

Maybe the dead are ``in His presence`` but not in literal Heaven.

Who knows...but we will soon find out at Yeshua`s return.

Distinguish btw hell or sheol as commonplace for mankind or hades and the lake of fire (limn tu purov) and you will see why JWs are the fastest growing religion (NOT BECAUSE they are false prophets. Now back to the greek new. Resurrection in greek is anageno (masculine) anagenensis (anastasis femenine. studying Koine Greek aka Septuagent (new testament) ana is a prefix meaning upon or up or after stasis is mode of sleep.

Here lies the confusion. Ecclesiastes 9:6 KJV renders whatsoever thy hand findeth to do do it with thy might for there is no work, device, knowledge, nor wisdom in the GRAVE where thou goest. Knowing anything about hebrew translation, this word here that refers to grave is the same that renders it as hell everywhere else so why does it render it as grave instead of hell?

I find it interesting that he opens w/ Jehovah's Witness will often point out certain verses...No JWs use the Bible to show you correct teachings The message of Solomon is the same message that any of the old testament speaks of ...You're saying the msg is only valid when you are only "under the sun" Life after death is very clear in the bible...Religions confuse it.
