HOW SILLY TO CALL HIM SUCH NAMES! HE FIGURED OUT MANY THINGS. what have U done?He lives free and supports himself,does not hurt the environment I admire him & consider him one of the brightest fellow around.Should be teaching classes on how to do certain things.All can't do what he has done.Looking down on him makes U feel better?Chasing the good life has caused many to die before their time and in the end who is better off?He is not hurting anyone but is helping himself.Good for Him!

the dude is a defenseless civilian, he intends to go out into a dog-eat-dog world and he doesn't even have an umbrella to shield himself with, should he be fired upon with an AK47 by a barefoot pirate.

i really hope he doesn't get fired upon, i find him a really good person, like a defenseless sheep. smart, and easy to bully. i wish the best for this guy, altruists like these should get the better things in this life and in the next life.

and to allisions from common ships, the island doesnt have bumpers, weather shields nor defense systems, all of which are intended for the continued existence of the island, and for its occupant's safety.

he hasn't thought of this well enough. i intend to learn from him. i intend to make a better version.

design too simplistic, he doesn't have a backup in case something does go wrong, in fact you should have a backup of a backup while you are out there in open sea, there is nobody to help you out there should you run into trouble.

he should have big empty drums extended outwards, in all directions, to stabilize the island from capsizing from big waves. this way he is extending the area of the island while minimizing material.

he also appears very very vulnerable to storms and pirates,

he has spent too much time looking after the island, it appears from the video he has forgotten to look after himself, he should still look after himself, what else is the point of living in paradise if your very person is in a mess?

all in all, i find his concept very very sustainable in the longterm, the individual bottles create compartmentalized spaces for trapping air, so there is no real threat of sinking the entire island should there be a leak in some bottles
