Rise of the Zandalari

The days when great troll empires stretched across ancient Kalimdor are long past. Millennia of war and internal strife have stripped these nations of their power, lands, and glory. As Azeroth recovers from the destruction of the Cataclysm, the world's divided troll populations face a bleak future. These dark times have spurred the trolls of the Zandalar, the historically wise and scholarly tribe from which all trolls originated, to take drastic action. They have embarked on a bold crusade to save their race by uniting trolls into a single mighty empire. With the Zandalari's aid, the fallen capitals of the Gurubashi and Amani nations—Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman—are already rebuilding, replenishing their forces for a bloody campaign to expand their territories.

Yet Vol'jin and his Darkspear trolls are not aligned with the Zandalari. They have sworn to stand with their Horde comrades—and even work with the Alliance—should the trolls ignite a new war on Azeroth. Soon, Vol'jin might be forced to act on his promise, for if the Gurubashi and Amani are left to their own devices, the world will know the legendary strength and savagery of the ancient troll empires once again.

  • @MMOTotal The Shattering.

At the Mak'Gora (I think that's how it's spelled it's been awhile) Cairne's supporters were mostly Tauren and Old Orcs and Trolls. While Garrosh's supporters were made up of young adults from all the Horde races. Also a lot of people appreciated Garrosh's renovations.

  • @VideoGamer869

What lore novels are you referencing here.

There has been two novels (3 if you use the Shattering but that is before the warchief title was put on him)

Twighlight of the Aspects, focuses more on Thralls journey.

Wolfheart, i have not read the whole book yet but so far there is no reference to orcs liking Garrosh over a certain age.

  • @VideoGamer869

Stonetalon is the only thing people can bring up in the defence of Garrosh. Now, in the timeline Stonetalon takes place BEFORE Garrosh invades twighlight highlands.

Did you see him at the opening sequence ?

He is a pathetic orc who rushes to conclusions. I cannot wait until Mists of Pandaria where Garrosh will show his true side when he lays waste to Theramore.

  • So Jin'do can be revived. but they can't revive Zul'jin?

    Zul'jin > Daakara

  • @Segerzzang But Garrosh has also gone through a large redemption. Did you ever finish Stonetalon Mountains on Horde? Garrosh is exactly like his father. He fights with Honor, Strength and Wisdom (lol valleys) Anyway. I think Garrosh is exactly like his father no more aggressive no less aggressive.

  • @Howitzas They aren't raids, these jewels are nothing but dungeons. ;( It would make the patch worthwhile if they introduced both dungeons and raids. ><

  • Anyone else hear Tosh from Starcraft 2 ?

  • @VideoGamer869 But he accepted his mistake and apologized to everyone, then he sacrificed himself to kill Mannoroth

  • @Segerzzang Even though it was also Grom who convinced everyone to drink the demon blood in the first place?

  • Hakkar: Woot im getting summoned again! :3
