I've repaired many iPads as this is my business, and I can say that this guy's guide is VERY SOLID and a great one to follow if you're choosing to do this repair yourself. (Plus I love the profanity! Hahaha). He's right in everything he says and also is right about the other videos online completely leaving off the part of the repair where you actually remove the digitizer glass screen from the mid-frame, which can be the most time consuming part of the repair if the screen is shattered.

Good tutorial. I'll probably use this to loosen my screen a little bit to get rid of backlight bleeding.

Don't use a screwdriver to pry it apart use a special pry tool made for that using a screwdriver will damage the outer casing. I use a suction cup and a screen extractor that's the right way to do it...

@gitit20 Yes, I used a very thin screw driver as it was the closest thing to the iPad opener tool. Although it came out fine, don't do as I did people!
