75% of the population of Wales didn't vote AGAINST the Assembly. It has a mandate in that the majority of the people who voted in the referendum voted FOR the Assembly. That is democracy my friend

They have made politics so far removed from the people having any say in events that they can get away with a 30% turn out and call it the will of the people, and the trouble is the media swallow that bull hok line and sinker. I am almost a convert to compulsory voting, but I am also an advocate of 'none of the above' being a tickable box that has its own count.

The Welsh Assembly is a waste of honest British Taxpayers money!! 49% of people voted against its creation! And anything they propose can be vetoed by the secretary of state, the westminster government or indeed Her Majesty.

The Welsh Assembly is full of people who sit on their arses and do nothing...they get nothing done!! And Plaid Cymryu!!! DONT GET ME STARTED ON THAT SEPERATIST SCUM!

57% of the population didn't vote in the last assembly elections yet they claim to have a mandate???? There is no quorum as far as the electoral commission is concerned so if 4% of the population voted that would be enough for the politicians to claim they have a right to govern
