@jrcstudios when did it finally die?
-
224,000 that is nothing my metro 280,000 and still runnin strong

Some turtle wax compound and about 1 hour will make them headlights clear again, after that, wax the lamps every week, all you can do unless you can find the UV protective paint. About how much mileage does this automatic get? Our 97 Geo gets only 32 on the highway, doesn't seem very impressive for Geo's.

pretty good little car if that's all that's wrong with it... how'd the timing belt look?
Doesn't sound like it was too bad at all...
-
Nice work. Engineers will always be needed!
-
Cool, you live in GA too! Nice car, what kind of gas milage?
-
@hatsorus I have 250k out of my 3 cylinder.
-
I think the four cylinder last longer than the three cylinder
-
rare to get that kind of miles out of one of those.

Been driving mine since I bought it new in 1994. It has 213,000 trouble free miles on it. It still starts and runs great.
Thanks for the vid man. but may i ask why u were drivin around with the parking brake on? and i would not trust that car it seems like its ready to go, i was never a fan of the 1.3L those motors were not reliable, the 1.0L 3cyl was the good engine. My stepdad got a 96 Metro LSI hatchback just like this one and it only got 92,000 miles and the brake line blew on it one day cuz the muffler he put on was too big and it melted the line and the ignition acts up sometimes.

Parking brake on? what?!? Are you saying I'm driving too slow? lol this one turned into a 3 cylinder at 4:50 because the distributor cap seal is no good and it got water in it! I'll probably get this car when it finally dies and put a different engine in it.

No. It looked like the parking brake light was on. and put a Suzuki Swift GTI motor in it, 100HP and u can turbo it to get 220HP

Oh, that was probably the check engine light, bad Oxygen sensor. Good to know a Suzuki swift will fit. I keep that in mind for when it finally dies.
