  • No jock stein no european cup win or 9 in a row or the endless league and scottish cup wins he was celtic and celtic park should be the jock stein stadium a true true legend

  • The word legend is often thrown about these days without thought r meaning. Jock Stein defines what a legend really is. The man was a true gent and a great manager. It's also comforting to see so many decent Rangers fans who share the same opinion. And for those ignorant fools who tarnish the big mans name i hope 1 day you's will go and educate yourselves and move on from the hatred and bitterness that exists within ibrox.RIP JOCK JIMMY TOMMY RONNIE and all the celtic greats who have passed awa

  • @BillyMcNeil67 aye well said m8

  • @UlsterLoyal72 Aye, as managers go, they come no better and warm hearted than Jock Stein, a man of true, genuine warmth and human hospitality. When the Ibrox disaster occured on 2nd of January 1971, Big Jock was the man who was there to help and comfort the injured and dying. It was nae problem for him that they were Rangers fans, they were his fellow Scots in need of his help and Jock was there to reach out .

May his compassion and achievements be long remembered andhis name honoured!

  • @darrenmyoung Darren, great comment. Big Jock was spoken of warmly by Rangers and the families of those who so sadly passed away in the disaster. The scum who blacken his memory would do well to remember that. R.I.P Big man and Cooper, Baxter, Johnstone, Burns etc. Its NOT more important than life or death.

  • Well said Possilgirl

  • @alkilp Plenty of decent Rangers fans as friends too, it's a shame there are a few empty heads that give your club a bad name. Walter Smiths comments on the big man today were sheer class.
