Me writing a verse and recording it to video on a boring Wednesday Night. Lemme know what you think...ill do a few more of these in the next couple nights..

Verse 1:
This is as real as it gets, I swear and I promise
You can write it all out, and stare at the phonics
I'm bare and I'm honest, fresher than a Tic-Tac
"middle class" tattooed across my six-pack
raised in the "Wood" first son of a veteran
every mountain i climbed, was done with a blessing
every failure I had, went without question
Media's my capital, just like Ovechkin
Riding down State Street, trolly's in the middle
Tracks cutting up the road, like strings on a fiddle,
the first floor at riddle, I was born in October
You can get out my way, get gone, or knocked over
I'm the pawn thats not sober, cuz im drunk on the power
so step back and let me drop the funk of these cowards
its all out of balance, up there with the crown
you keep putting up walls, and I'll keep tearing them down

Chorus:
I was raised on the corner, where poor meets rich
Middle finger in the air, from the center of a fist (X4)

Verse 2:
I was raised on goodwill clothes, and wawa shorties
ill be paying off student loans, until I'm 40
No need to anoint me, i'm king of the rebels.
From 252 down the road to Pennel
So bring back the treble and raise up the bass kicks
my father was a clerk, my mother a waitress
always had all the basics, all dreams could be touched
respected the working man enough, to make a Bolshevik blush
but now i want more, so i'm grinding and gaining
climbing and changing, rhyming and raging
no time to be patient, i can't wait for the clearance
too much bourgeoisie angst, mixed with Marxian spirit.
yall dont want to hear it, im public school made
public school graduated and public school paid
behind these kids with their average grades
because of flush bank accounts and their daddy's last name
aint a damn thing change, I know yall heard me
going from Baltimore pike, to the heart of route 30
I'm dirty like skervy, reaching into their pockets
say what you want, but you aint gone stop it..
im done...
