The Birthday Party was Nick Cave on vocals, Mick Harvey on bass/drums/guitar, the ingenious Rowland S. Howard on lead guitar, Tracy Pew on bass + some transients, none of whom stayed with the band for any length of time.
This is taken from sessions recorded with the legendary, and unfortunately late, John Peel.
Although an official release, it's nevertheless rare, and given the disturbing lack of Birthday Party clips/songs on here, I thought I'd go ahead and put it up anyway.
