Well, Ron Paul proposed a balance budget within 3 years for his 2012 plan. With that a 1 trillion dollar cut in gov't spending.

@pantslizard : It's the guy's background. People aren't used to seeing a former CIA or United States Marine Corps officer criticising the US government to such a degree. A guy like that is not as easy to ignore as a tin foil hat "conspiracy theorist". A guy like that is a guy John Q Public tends to take seriously. That's what makes him a big deal.

I like the way he handled the young lady's question about internet radio. Revolutionaries have to choose between doing the RIGHT thing (INNOVATION) and doing the SMART thing (staying out of jail). Martin L. King did the RIGHT thing. Ron Paul does the RIGHT thing. Whistleblowers do the RIGHT thing. The SMART thing will keep you out of trouble but cause you to lose your soul and self-respect. BLOG THAT!
