M'kay, But I also think it's fair if the blame was placed on both parties. Men are responsible for the exploitation of the black woman, but you must also blame black women for even falling into that trap and for continuing to stay there. There's always space and opportunity to get out of that life. For those who do, we must commend them for standing up for what they think is right. For those who don't, they must be educated, because clearly they aren't, and they need to rise above that life.
I have to honestly say that the black video vixen of today is Sara Baartman. However, she didn't ask to be put on display like an animal and have her skin hung on a wall and her body parts preserved. I think black women need to open their eyes and change now....
No I don't want my daughter to grow up and become a video vixen. But we as blacks put to many stigmas on ourselves. We shouldn't be so hard on ourselves. Rap videos now are no different from what the rock n roll videos have always been. Think about this. For white girls Playboys the HolyGraille. If our magazines had as much pull as PB it would be a same before GOD. We all know that the actions of a few doesn't represent the masses for real. Thats stereotyping. Vanessa Williams was stereotyped.
i'm mixed with black and white but I tottaly agree with you on this video! I'm American 100% whitch means I hangout with alot of americans but one thing, not many black people like me because they say I act to white lol but its life hee hee:D ttyl bye
no females are not sara baartman thats sad what happen to the female; iam not5 going to let stereo types get me down! when the brothers fight to fix it then they should discuss it not to bring it up to just talk about it.
