I hate all this talk of racism. However, unfortunately, it does exist. There are many instances of people ignoring others in dire circumstances even when all are of the same race. In my daughter's case, an Asian-American NP did the exam and dictated the report for a Caucasian-American MD. The MD never saw my daughter and yet signed the report as if he had. The NP listed my daughter's race as "American." I don't know if the transcriptionist misunderstood or what as Belinda was Caucasian.

@freestylehits Hollywood Community Hospital should be shut down! They murdered my daughter by denying her treatment for acetaminophen toxicity which resulted in hepatic encephalopathy and coma. In a panic they airlifted her to UCLA after it was too late. Nevertheless UCLA gave her an 11th hour liver transplant and kept her on life support for a week until they could "declare her." They nagged me about donating organs all that week. The rest of the story is too grizzly to tell!

This happens in other hospitals to people of other races. It just gets swept under the rug by the medical racketeers!
