The students of Iqra University intend to undertake a promising community development project headed by the director of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The project is a significant component of our course in the Development Studies and Business Administration program. The aim of the project is to identify any social issue in the area or region and after consultation with the professor complete this project within a timeline to bring about a positive lecture room change in the society.

Over the last two years, the students of Iqra University through such projects were able to generate funds of approximately Rs. 5 million. There by, bringing opportunities for the under-privileged of the society.

Current details of the project:
Lacation: A small village located 50 kilometer to the north of Dera-Ismail-khan, and 300 km from Islamabad.
School Name: Government Middle School Wanda Kareem.
The school consist of 10 faculty members assigned for 300 students, these three hundred students have just two lecture rooms and students from 1st grade to 6th grade sit under blazing hot sun without any shade furniture and blackboard. There is no electricity and water reservoir and no toilet in the school.



We hope that you will find it in your hearts and budget to support this project. With an honest and promising approach towards Social Responsibility that we uphold as the citizens of this country, we will target firms and organizations with a CSR portfolio, so that we may be able to raise the expected amount of funds and ensure its appropriate utilization.

A plaque will be displayed mentioning the sponsors of the project at the school premises.. Please note that the project deadline is 20,5,2011 therefore we need your willingness and support to finance this project before this deadline.
