I've personally wanted a mac of some sort for garageband for quite awhile mainly because I love making music (Im a musician and play pianos and that). Still I've really wanted to get into the mac OS and some of the high-end stuff like Maya etc. Only thing is, yep I'm a gamer and the Macs GPU's aren't top-end and no upgrading for you Mr. If the gaming platform was as large as windows no problem, probably wouldn't need such high-end gpu's cuz of openGL but right-now, mmmmm! nah!

I'm no apple hater, it just when my cousin had one and broke after months later after she got it, she had to pay to get it fix, i think it was the hard drive that was messed up. I feel like all that money she paid for it, you can get a $500 one turn it into $1000 and have it replace without spending anymore money when it brakes. But apple are like perfectionist, and are set trenders.
