@indigonightfire i do not know much about Aikido, but most martial arts that come from way back were made for life and death fighting, they all have ways to kill.

@Baseshocks "secrets of the art"? "taught to kill"? You must be thinking of a different martial art...

@cameronc20 it depends on the dojo, a lot of dojos give out belts like water as long as they keep the students and get paid. at my old place no one under 18 could be a black belt, even if you were one of the best students and you were 17, its about maturity. in many proper dojos when one becomes a black belt it means you are trusted by the instructor and then are tought the secrets of the art, (tought to kill etc... ) this dojo in video is a fucking joke.

charyuop: for this show they billed Aikido as a sport, but the closest it is would be a "demonstration" style sport, but for those that do Aikido it isn't a sport to us.
