Butterfly month Joel!! Haven't quite grasped the "exbutt" yet, I think it's probably just a confidence thing. I'm hoping the other new move is the goldrush I was working on last week, so if it's something else then tell me! I think I need to bring that extended leg down more, do you think?

So moves I was working on: primarily the butterfly, then the goldrush, and linking them with other moves (gemini/scorpio). This is one of my favourite soundtracks, unfortunately it makes me want to dance beyond what is probably sensible! So I started off just improvising to the music, some of it's a bit daft I know, but I was having fun! It's pretty heavily edited, only because it was boringly repetitive and I had to keep the size of the video down, I still think it's a bit of an epic but hopefully you'll stay awake through it.

Even if you do skip bits, please note that towards the end I got a shoulder mount!!! Wooo!!! I was dog tired so I'm amazed I got it so effortlessly. I was struggling so bad on that cross-knee release. Also it was a hot sticky day so I was going between sticking to the pole and sliding off it which didn't help.

As usual - I appreciate any pointers you lovely people can give me. Thanks for watching :)

  • Inspiring performance! SHowcased your strength, especially with the butterflies and the inverted thigh hold. You loked like you were completely mesmerized, that's when poling is the best. I recently spent a month continually sore because I couldn't stop poling. I had just started lessons and could do inverts more easily because the studio poles are stickier. It hurt so good!
