True to a point.

Graphics don't make a game scary... but they certainly can help to make it scarier.

Imagine this game with a better light and shadow effects for example.

I could think of multiple ways how better graphics could make this scary game into a fucking scary game.

this game is most certainly one of the most thrilling exciting games i have ever played. really felt that i was "in the game"

played it on xbox alooong time ago. even though the graphics "today" might look rather unattractive. i still would buy it at a fair price and replay it today.

i think that this game was waaaay too underrated. 5 stars out of 5
