Ken Davidson and Hugh Forgie toured the nation in the late 1930s and early 1940s with their comedy badminton show, playing at venues such as Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall. Ken Davidson, an Englishman, was killed in a airplane accident in 1954.

  • The heavy rackets aren't bad, I have one from the '50s and it's very well balanced. I don't really care for the feel of the lighter rackets now.

  • Not bad at all. It wasn't as slow back then as I thought it would be. And the trick shots were very much a part of the game back then. Cool.

    5 ounce rackets!? Ouch!
