This is an audio Deep Trance Meditation (DTM) session by Douglas James Cottrell set to images and subtitles to help summarize and convey the meaning of the words. If you are unfamiliar with Douglas' work, he is a trance intuitive in the same vein and style as Edgar Cayce. Search on his name for other videos or visit his website (douglasjamescottrell.com) for further information.

  • its not the content of this vid which concerns me, but the delivery. I have listened for some time with great interest to the messages of rev cottrell and am certain that this is the first time i have heard him speak which such 'certanty' on any subject.

  • I concentrate on "Om" mantra and this really works quickly and calms the mind. I just visualize that energy is flowing towards third eye (kundalini) and if you hold it long enough (say 10 mins), you can feel the energy concentrating there. Now how does that feel... well if someone is holds a pencil 1mm away from that spot in air, you would feel some kinda energy even if your eyes are closed. That's how it feels, the only difference is there is no pencil, just energy and bliss.

  • @fullmetal891 Relaxation is the biggest thing. Some practices have 'mantras' or words one focuses on, others do not.. the mantra's main purpose is focusing the mind on one thought instead of the mind's random jumping around to different thoughts which will usually happen otherwise. I myself have done a practice with mantrams and for me this works best- you need to experiment with what works best for you :) Best regards

  • @rammsteinregeln Is it ok to pick one random thing and focus on that, or do u have to completely clear your mind and think about nothing at all

  • @rammsteinregeln Re: random thoughts. - Perhaps that's where controlled breathing is an aid in quieting the mind so that you reach the required level meditative state. (my suggestion)

  • @DigrediorMens and you want to be breathing naturally, not consciously.

  • when i read tarot his area in my hand between thumb and index and wrist tingles when i am supposed to stop shuffling, interesting.

  • just as before, the delivery of this message was clear and direct, very unlike the usual style where the delivery is more objective.

  • @247mmg yes actually a couple years ago i asked about MMS and Rev. D responded that it is useful for parasites or other infestation in the intestine but it kills the good bacteria also, he gave a couple precautions- not to take too much, and that it 'jolts' the body into the kind of reactions ppl have like nausea etc because the body's trying to get rid of it as a toxic substance. Overall the DTM didn't recommend it too highly. I've taken MMS myself with mild results
