I almost got to own the original sign used for this show....long story. I saw the first and last preview. What a mistake replacing the lead. He was just fine, much better than Jim Walton. And Ann Morrison....an astonishing performance.

@PhantomDawg594 I had the amazing experience of watching my son in this show and sing this song with two of his best friends. I have never seen anything more beautiful and it reminded me powerfully of how much I love him. It made me think of his future, of what was ahead of him. He was only15 at the time. This song breaks my heart.

@jjarndyce yes - this has always been my issue, too. Not a Day Goes By is amazing, but we get the emotional gravity of it later, as we do in most of the songs, as the reference becomes more intellectual than emotional. I think song, in the backward telling, is the one that really works and does what it should, but you've had to see the whole thing to get there.
