Bruce & Fogerty perform a rocking version of the Creedence classic "Fortunate Son" at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Benefit Concert -- Madison Square Garden -- Thursday, 10/29/09
i love how bruce is smiling. it's truely a nice thing to see on stage. it's like almost anytime i see a video of a band live, NONE of them are smiling. can you look like your having fun?
@kiely Sorry there my friend! I didnt mean to sound like a prick! I´ll take your word on John Forgerty contracts! I dont wanna argue either! Please accept my apologies! Peace!!
i was not speaking the "goal" of rock and roll or "fun" but rather to the specific history of John Fogerty and his recording contracts. it is well documented feel free to look it up. i'm too old to argue about history.
and as to the idiot claiming billy shone in the portion w/bruce, all i heard about was billy blowing the lyrics and melody to "born to run". how the hell do you blow one of the most well-known rock songs of all time in a guest slot? good grief. billy ought to stay out of the bottle.
don't know why peeps are blasting bruce - he and john have performed many times together and obviously have a great respect for one another. absurd that you'd expect him to sound like john. some peeps are just ignorant....
Great song, still so relevant today!!!!!!
