Megan Barrett and I sing a song I wrote inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. The song starts from the point of view of Bilbo and shifts to Gandalf's as Bilbo takes on a life changing journey.

I think we should all share this and get it famous enough by the time the 2nd or 3rd Hobbit film is finished to be included in the credits.

I absolutely love this song. I recently bought this song (along with 'Tonight' and 'Everything is Coming Up Milhouse') and regret not downloading the song when it was free (meaning this version). The iTunes one is good but the acoustics and static in this video are just so epic. I think I finally understand why some people claim music isn't music until you hear it on Vinyl.

I love the lyrics of the first verse. They really are well written and describe the tone of the book/movie perfectly.

It's the philosophy that Bilbo lives by.

The first part, from Bilbo's perspective, reminded me of the music from the animated HOBBIT, which is really cool.
