One of Hyadain's Dragon Quest fan songs, this time featuring the cast of DQIV singing to the tune of Hairspray's "You Can't Stop the Beat". I'm still new to translating, so any comments or corrections are welcome! (I will be using annotations for sure, especially as soon as I figure out what Cristo/Kyril is singing at around 1:30 into the video!)

I've been learning how to use Aegisub (which is also available in Portuguese) It has bit of a learning curve, but for a free program it is pretty powerful - I heartily recommend it!

I think its awesome that you're providing translations as well - it means even more people get to enjoy these songs! :D

I use Aegisub, but I use the english version, I didn't know there was a Portuguese Version. Now I already get used tyo the English version, so I think I will continue using the English version.

To insert the subs on the vid, you use which program?

Sure! Its no problem, feel free to use my translation if it helps -- I think there are a few errors in my translation, but since I'm still learning I can't be certain.

I used Avidemux 2.4 to apply the subtitle file to the video - takes a bit of trial and error to get it working just right.

At 3:26 when the hero came in, I started dancing. I envisioned him sliding across a stage on his knees holding a microphone. Fun times.

The characters were all portrayed well. It's things like this that make me mad at the localization team for removing Party Chat from the remake. Awesome nakama action like this could have been been in the actual game, but alas...

Great job with the subtitles, by the way. I was able to feel the energy from the lyrics, even though I can't speak Japanese.

My favourite parts were when the male hero sang for the first time at 3:26 and the instrumental at the VERY end, when all the singing was done. Those parts choke me up a bit.
