Chapter 5 - Paper Mario Thousand Year Door - A Musical Walkthrough. ♫

Ever since 'Super Paper Mario' Came out, little to no respect has been given to the two games that came before it, the REAL Paper Mario. Ignore what everyone else says - Thousand Year Door is one of the best games I have ever played. Ever.

This is my attempt to get people to remember the best bits about the whole game - through music. If you never played it - this will do little for you. If you played it and loved it, memories of things you had completely forgotten will flood back to you... just like they did with me...

Chapter 5 is pretty cool. Although the idea rings more that a bell from Pirates of the Caribbean, its just cool. Keelhaul key is a really cool place, the plot is amazing, and the fact that the chapter doesnt finish when you get the crystal star is even cooler.

Flavio: Emotion, you say, ah? I suppose each life must experience some emotion... Yes, the gradual process that forever alters the landscape of life, like rain on dirt... AH! NOOO! FOOLISH FLAVIO! Not EROSION, you silly man! What I need is EMOTION!!! Wait! Hold the horses! That is it!!!

Flavio: Thrills, you say, ah? I suppose one does need some thrills every now and then... There is nothing like the feeling of being alone on a mountain, shivering to death... AH! NOOO! FOOLISH FLAVIO! Not CHILLS, you silly man! What I need are THRILLS!!! Wait! Hold the horses! That is it!!!

(Money, maybe?)
Flavio: Money, you say, ah? Yes. There is nothing like a grapefruit covered in... AH! NOOO! FOOLISH FLAVIO! Not HONEY, you silly man! What he meant was MONEY!!! ...Ah, but if it's money I need, I may be in good shape. Because I'm filthy rich! Wait! Hold the horses! A great idea has struck!
Flavio: You swine! You mean to steal my treasure out from under me, you awful, awful man!
Bartender: You'll probably end up crying...but I'll tell it to you, if you really want me to.
- Please do! I can take it.
- No, I hate sad stories.
Flavio: locked in deadly combat with a sea serpent...
Pa-Patch: Great. He's started again. A "tale of bravery", right? I heard this one yesterday...
Voice: ...OoOoOoOoOooOooOoOoOoOoOo......oOoOoOoOooOooOoOoOoOoO...
Pa-Patch: N-N-No... They're upon us... The p-p-p-pirate...GHOSTS!
Flavio: ...Wait. Wait one moment. Did... Did you just call the great Flavio "fancy pants"?
Pa-Patch: That's right, fancy pants! Fancy pants! Fancy pants! Fancy pants!
Black Chest: ...What's that? Spare you the prologue and just curse you already?
Cortez: ...OoOoOoOoOooOooOoOoOoOoOoOoOo... Come intooooooooo my... HACKPTH! HORK! AHEM! ...OoOoOoOoOooOooOoOoOoOoOoOo... Enough! I grow tired of this spooky "OoOoO" business!
Cortez: This little rock over here? Are you serious?
Grotto Toad: Yeah, that IS Four-Eyes? What's he doing over there? HEEEEEEEY! FOUR-EYES! IT'S DANGEROUS UP THERE!
TEC: But...I must ask you to take off your dress, however. Even the potion cannot make the dress invisible.
Princess Peach: What?!? That's indecent! No way!
[A couple of seconds later...]
Princess Peach: ...Oh, fine.
Lord Crump: Buh huh! Oh, I gotta laugh! THIS is why I keep one of these around! Sorry, suckers! Eat this, turtle dorks! SUPERBOMBOMB!
(He chucks the Superbombomb at Bowser)
Bowser: INCOMING!!!
(It hits Bowser, and nothing happens)
Bowser: Huh? That was it? That was your big weapon? It didn't even go off! GWA HA HA HA HA HA HA! This is how you do it, amateur! Watch and learn!
(He breathes fire on it, and the Superbombomb explodes)

Well, actually, there are hundreds of full scripts on the internet. I just copied it from one of them, and edited for the bits I wanted. Just type into most decent search engines, and they come up.

I hated Super Paper Mario. A complete and total disappointment.

This game and the first one are gems. The characters are great, the story is great, and the world of Rougeport is dazzling with lots of thrills. It brings a lot of personality into the world of not only Paper Mario, but the whole series in general. To go from a masterpiece like this to ... SPM is pretty sad.
