  • What the hell is wrong with presenting trailers like this?? I think it's a great idea to see snippets of something you might never get to see on stage. Hey, guy, (you know who you are) try and be a little more open-minded about this. Imagine if NO stage production ever got filmed or taped. Lost forever. (but to each his own, right?)

  • @gil166 if by "lousy" you mean "refreshingly minimal", then you are absolutely right

  • WHUT?

This is NOT the 1900s. XD

  • @matitti, ...not really.

  • Elizabeth Marvel is a Marvel

  • There's some irony with one of the actors and the title. Can you guess? (Hint: Christopher Evan Welch)

  • @conewells I totally agree with you!!!! I wish Equity and the NY Pulib Library would open up their vaults release these shows on DVD so folks like me in Austin, Texas can see these shows that everyone raves about. There is a market for theater on DVD and I would proudly purchase and rent them. Thank god for the bootleggers who secretly tape the shows and sell them online.

  • This kind of trailer is great for action movies; suspenseful music, short dramatic lines, quick cuts. Some thing seems off.. what could it be? Oh! This trailer is for a play. It's scary to see NYTW following in the footsteps of Hollywood. Dare I say next they'll be hiring B list movie stars as lead roles in their plays (and selling out like Broadway). Theater is exciting because it is LIVE. If we continue utilizing the modes of reproduction meant for film then yes, theater will die.

  • lousy stage decoration

  • goosebumps!
