KAET analog shutdown

With a flair for understatement, KAET plays its end-of-day signoff message - twice - and proceeds to turn off their analog signal that had been on since 1961. Actual shutdown occurs at 2:34 of this 2:44 clip.

KAET shut off its analog at the end of day April 29, 2009. Most stations continued analog service until June 12.

I'm not sure when they first used that particular signoff.

I would have expected them to run the incredibly beautiful sign off with the Arizona scenes from Koyaanisqatsi. I probably have that on an old VHS tape buried in my closet. I should look for it since clearly KAET doesn't know where their copy is.

Does anybody remember the song that KAET used to play? It was a distinctive piano song, part of which I believe they still use as their jingle to this day. I don't have TV anymore so I have no way of confirming this. But I'd very much like to find that song.
