Lovely coop and run. I particularly like the little tunnel. Ours is nowhere near as well thought out but you've given me lots of ideas. Thanks

@MotherLodeBeth Your set up sounds good. I never use that light anymore since I built the bigger coop. But as a fishtank light it is in a high moisture environment anyway. As long as it doesn't get a lot of water in the top of it, it will be ok.

Like your set up but is the fish tank like ok for outdoor use? Like when its raining and there is mositure in the air. I have an outdoor approved low watt bulb set up.

I love the tunnel idea! But it is so low, how do you keep the snakes out?

@ZiptieTheDog Never had a problem with them. Just keep the eggs collected and if one comes by during the day my rooster kills them.

Why do you have the fish tank light in the run?

@pepperanne14 Chickens like a little light at night and this one is low wattage. In the winter they need some light to help them lay better.
