Why does the host feel a need to rephrase all things Sam explain?

Almost every little information given during the interview is presented to us twice. First by Sam, then by the host, modified a tad...

A little annoying, really. But very interesting topic, nonetheless.

I agree its a little annoying, but I think the host is restating things in a simpler way is to avoid confutions and just making sure that what he understands what sam is saying is what sam is actully saying. Since sam is much smarter then me I like it being confirmed for me so I know im understanding it right.
