Hound Dog Taylor oozing with distortion, followed by James Brown followed by Locomotive Breathe, one of Jethro Tull's best. And then, as if that wasn't enough, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Marvin Gaye, Miles Davis, Pharoah Sanders, Pink Floyd, Stones, Sly, T Rex, Uriah Heep, Van Der Graf Generator, Who's Next, Yes, Andean folk music, and Roy Harper.... pretty amazing stuff came out in 1971.

Hi Kingreich22, excellent and varied picks. Boy, 1971 was a good year, too bad I was too young. But not really, I can benefit from previous generations and anticipate the future.

Wow...you really like Caravan. It made it to your 1970 AND 1971 lists. Their influence didn't make it across the Atlantic unfortunately.
