A class project. I replaced 100% of the originally recorded audio with sounds I sampled from the environment (e.g. my kitchen mostly). Among some of the more interesting tools used were the refrigerator, the microwave, a knife and a fork. See if you can figure out which effects they were used for!
Incidentally, this Foley stuff is extremely difficult to make convincing. By far the most challenging visual cue to match was the footsteps on various surfaces. Not only does this require different surfaces, but the proper pan and relative volume changes.
At some point, I may post the original along with a "how to" video. Enjoy!
NOTE: I could not upload the video properly directly from Logic. YouTube kept pulling the audio from the original recording from info embedded in the file. It was suggested that I export the file using Quicktime (which I did, directly to my desktop, then dragged to YouTube... Direct to YouTube from QT failed). That seems to have corrected the issue!
