Shanghai Art Fair 2008 - Latin American Pavilion LAP - Trazos Gallery

The Shanghai International Art Fair, is one of the most important and most prestigious international events which takes place every year in Asia. The presence of important galleries from Asia, Europe and North America have made The Shanghai International Art Fair a referring cornerstone for the international art market within Asia.

The Shanghai Art Fair, co-hosted by Shanghai Cultural Development Foundation and Eastern Shanghai International Culture Film & Television Group, has gone through a decade of steady development and has become one of the most important annual art shows in China and Asia

Joined by more than 150 modern and contemporary art galleries from home and abroad every year, the fair exhibits thousands of paintings, sculptures, installations, video works, etc., while welcoming over 10,000 art collectors, curators, art media, artists and art lovers from all corners of the globe.Once again Shanghai Art Fair will host the presence of a Pavilion devoted to Latin-American Art called, The Latin-American Pavilion (LAP). A pioneer of its kind in Asia and a referring cornerstone of Latin-American culture in artistic Asian circles, the LAP houses galleries which specialize in Latin-American Art with various origins in Europe, North America, Asia, and Latin America, all of which today exhibit through it the works of renowned artists from the continent.
