Thank you thank you thank you! this made a huge difference, i can finally strum! and i added in a mute so now i can play somthing! this is a very good tutorial my friend! i love spanish/ flaminco style!

I just have a martin ellipse acoustic/electric cutaway guitar can i just switch to nylon strings to start learning how to play this style?
-
wtf...in a rasgueado, the thumb remains anchored and doesn't strum -_-
if you wanna do a 4 finger rasgueado then just include your pinkie, or at the end of a 3 finger rasgueado make an up-stroke with your index finger

@gringolazlo a = angular / ring finger, m = middle, i = index, p = thumb.
I work closely with James Manuele (the instructor in this video), and I would like to advise that he is a Classical Guitarist and not a flamenco player. Though, he is capable of playing flamenco, his forte is classical. If someone is looking for true flamenco techniques I advise you to look elsewhere. The techniques demonstrated here are merely stones in a huge array of methods performed by guitarists all over the world.
it helps alot to have nails and you can play anystyle on any guitar it just might not the same.

Paco watch it and..he´s not agree with the way you play....the spanish gipsy doesnt even know the accords!...so, what are you trying to explain??? and the rytm is the more important.
