Sea Isle City, NJ ~ Townsends Inlet After Hurricane Irene

After returning to Sea Isle City on Sunday 1:30pm when the government officials approved entrance back on the island I dropped off my personal belongings and set out to see how we fared. To my surprise I found that we were very lucky. It was like the Twilight Zone as no one was around and it was warm and the sun was trying to come out. The beach was still there and the wind was blowing hard from the back end of the storm. This video was taken on the southern most part of the island off of 94th Street.
