An Indian defence correspondent is on cloud nine after becoming the first woman to fly the Russian MiG-35 fighter jet. Suman Sharmas chance of a lifetime came at an international air show in Bangalore.

That's very silly simply due to the fact the F-15 (and every other plane on the planet) doesn't have the ability to "pick" which type of aircraft the enemy sends against it. If you're an F-15 pilot and if a MiG-25 is sent against you, what do you do? Radio the MiG-25 pilot to fly home and to come back with a more advanced aircraft?

F-15: "Sorry, dude. YouTube critics won't count my victory unless you come back and face me with a MiG-35 or something. You gotta do better than a MiG-25."

@Primorsky Like the MiG-29, right? Because, you know, the MiG-29 wasn't developed primarily to counter the F-15 Eagle or anything.

@vtkrey it would be nice if yhey could actually put more than 3 functional ac in the air. The 29's failed miserably vs the eagle in all theaters. The eagle is unbeaten so until you can actually put something in the air in significant numbers which performs in combat conditions i'd refrain from making such bold statements of wishing.
