When I set out to make this one, I truly did come at it with an open mind, clear and free of any specific intention. As I watched and remembered some of my favorite music, sounds and films though, my nostalgic mind made it all clear to me. More then many others, this piece is very personal to me. It represents personal favorites old and new, with a little bit of my old film experimentation thrown in. I hope you like this one as much as me.

As always...

Love,

  • Superbly synctastic to me seeming. I am currently deeply fascinated with the constant reminders of light and dark in media and film, and started watching the True Blood boxset for the first time which introduced me to vampires and their relationship with Religion (catholicism)/politics and ritualistic behavior. oooh and What is the footage 49 seconds into this video? I have seen an identical scene on Lost. This really is an epic video. As above so below :)

  • @amywamie Glad you got all of that! The scene is from Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal. Great scene where a crusader is playing a chess game with Death

  • @readymade7777 Excellent,I did get alot from this vid and your natural flow fo information is well balanced and cramp packed full of inspiration. The Seventh Seal will now be watched :) Thos was what the scene reminded me of ......watch?v=ZuISMUoJNw8 .....and ..... /watch?v=8SPqImu_kz8

  • @amywamie It wouldn't surprise me if those LOST ideas were inspired by that film

  • Det är jag som är DÖDEN

  • Great video !!!

  • Great work Doc!

  • 90's!

  • This is awesome in a very strange way. I would put all these videos onto a DVD and just have it playing in the background while I draw. For some reason, I find this inspiring.

  • just.. wow !

  • Time Bandits and Brainstorm are 2 of my all time favorite movies and you use them so well in your work, well done.

  • @UsuallyIntoxicated I really do get as visual and simple as possible so as not to overwhelm my computer.....specifically I use iMovie5 HD....final cut pro, and everything after imovie 5 is terrible for my vision

  • @readymade7777 Now I must ask, what video editing software do you use? I don't think mine could handle that many cuts without screwing up the audio....

  • I wonder what your room looks like. x)
