Like hawkeye said... AOA(angle of attack)meansthe pitch of blades... how much air it bites. the cyclic(middle stick)basically controls the forward motion . The collective controls the ip and down. Read up and learn. This coming from an Aero A&P mech. :-)
Looks like the cyclic let out on the rotor. I don't know if anybody was hurt but it looks like the rotor went away from the cabin. Poor bastards. Helicopters are safe as long as all the rotors have the same AOA...
