May 31, 1985

This is actually two separate clips of the same tornado as it marched from Ohio into Pennsylvania on the evening of May 31st, 1985. It was a bad day for tornadoes in both the US and eastern Canada. The first clip has no audio. The second one you've probably seen bits of, but it contains some extra footage (parts of which are not great, considering it was probably filmed on one of those massive 80s home cameras) and of course the expert commentary, such as "that's a tornado!", "look at it!", "get downstairs!" and my personal favourite: "that's fantastic!"
